Crispy homemade tortilla strips add crunch to anything they top. They’re especially tasty garnishing Chicken Tortilla Soup.

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

  • Coconut oil nonstick cooking spray
  • 6 (6-inch) corn tortillas
  • ¼ tsp Himalayan salt
  • ¼ tsp chili powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cut each tortilla in half. Cut each half crosswise into ½-inch strips. Set strips on prepared baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until crisp, turning once halfway through. Sprinkle with salt and chili powder. Cool.
