This refreshing Watermelon Salsa combines sweet watermelon, tangy kiwi, fresh strawberries, and a hint of heat from jalapeño, balanced with red onion and lime juice. Serve chilled with baked pita chips for a vibrant, fruity appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

2 cups diced watermelon

2 kiwi, peeled, quartered and sliced

1 cup chopped strawberries

½ cup chopped red onion

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped*

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Salt, to taste

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Serve with baked pita chips.

*Note: Hot peppers contain volatile oils that can burn your skin and eyes. When working with jalapeños, wear protective gloves.
