Sugar Cookie Frosting

Ingredients: 2 cups powdered sugar; ¼ cup shortening; 3 tbsp water; 1 tsp almond extract; Food coloring (optional); Decorative sprinkles (optional)

Finish off Sugar Cookies by decorating them with this frosting. It’s a classic glaze that may be tinted for any festive occasion.

Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup shortening
3 tbsp water
1 tsp almond extract
Food coloring (optional)
Decorative sprinkles (optional)

Directions

In a medium bowl, beat together powdered sugar, shortening, water and almond extract. Add food coloring, if desired. Spread frosting on Sugar Cookies (see below). If desired, top with sprinkles.
