52 Bible Verses Every Kid Should Know

As parents we give our kids the best in life we can afford—name brand shoes, after-school sports, music training. We want them to have better things than we had as children. But the best gift is teaching them to memorize Scripture. Here, we give one verse for each week of the year to memorize.

There are many stories about how people in difficult situations have relied on memorized verses for peace, power and instruction. God promises that His word “will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” Isaiah 55:11 NIV.

The NIV Bible says:
