Strawberry Refresher

If you've added exercise to your weight-loss program, your body needs nutritious foods for fuel. We'll get you started with a fruit smoothie.

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana, frozen
  • 1 cup strawberries, frozen
  • 1 6-ounce container low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ serving vanilla-flavored whey protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

Directions

For best results, freeze fruit for several hours before making the smoothies.  

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
